SAND collects various personal details when you sign up to our newsletter or agree to take part in our projects. This information could include your name, phone numbers, address, email address etc. We may also keep a record of any correspondence between us. We collect this information by consent, so we are confident that you are happy for us to have it.
- How we use your information
SAND uses your information primarily to provide you with the services and products you request. We also analyse this information to improve our understanding of the people we are connecting with. We do this so that we can make better decisions about our work. We will not share your personal information with any other organisation unless lawfully required to do so. We will ask you if you are happy to receive information about SAND’s activities, including event information and our projects, including LGBT History Month and associated festivals. You may opt out at any time.
- What you can expect
SAND sends out an infrequent electronic mailing with information about current and upcoming activity. You will be given an opportunity to unsubscribe in every newsletter sent to you and we will make a request every 2 years for you to renew your subscription to the newsletter and confirm the accuracy of the information we have for you. If you do not respond to this we will automatically delete your contact information from our records.
- Removing your personal information
You may request that we delete your details at any time – just contact us at email@example.com or by telephone 07966 294323. Details will be removed within 30 days.
